PROJECT 1 (2021-2022) - IBEX Innovations
Our first ever project at ChallEng KCL was with startup medical devices company IBEX Innovations. A group of 4 biomedical engineering students teamed up to produce a research report on Osteoporosis risk factors which later lead to a team of 8 students working on testing their theories on IBEX's Osteoporosis risk factor detection platform, TrueView.
A summer paid internship was successfully launched and offered by this company to a few of our outstanding students and ChallEng KCL continues to have long lasting relationships with this company.
PROJECT 2 - Care by Tech
We are currently undertaking our first project with Care by Tech (http://carebytech.co.uk/) at the King's College London branch of ChallEng. Care by Tech are a start-up company established by technology professionals aiming to harness the powers of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Voice technologies to provide pro-active care for the elderly and others suffering from Loneliness, Depression, Dementia, Alzheimer, Diabetes, and similar critical medial conditions needy requiring personal attention at their private residences or care homes. ChallEng are helping to determine the most beneficial technical route to undertake for the start-up.
